Margaret Strick is an experienced Ayrshire-based Plastic Surgeon, having worked closely with Carrick Glen Hospital for many years, where she gained a reputation for meticulous surgery, listening carefully to her patients and a kind and respectful attitude. Miss Strick is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with her NHS practice split between the Canniesburn Unit based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Ayrshire, both Crosshouse Hospital and Ayr Hospital.

M argaret Strick has an excellent reputation as a plastic surgeon with an exquisite attention to detail. At The Good Skin Place, she offers minor surgery under local anaesthetic, and consultation for general anaesthetic procedures to be carried out in Glasgow.

As an NHS Consultant, Miss Strick regularly undertakes breast reconstruction surgery including free flap microsurgery, complex hand reconstruction surgery and surgery for facial skin cancers. She participates in NHS audit, clinical governance, appraisal and revalidation processes.

 

She is fully registered and licensed on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery, having trained in South Africa, Scotland, England, Australia and the USA.   

Her qualifications are MbbCh, MSc (Surgical Science) FRCS and FRCS (Plast).  She has a Diploma in Practical Dermatology and a certificate in Medical Ethics.  She is member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
